Jeff Winters, Premiership Referee

There was great excitment recently when the prominent F.A. Cup Final Referee, Jeff Winters came to lunch. Jeff was in town as a guest of Dundalk F.C. at an event to raise funds for the club.
To the delight of employees and patrons, Jeff stayed long enough to meet and greet and sign a few autographs.

The famous Sam Maguire Gaelic Football Trophy was in Fitzpatrick's recently as the main attraction at a fund raiser.

The President Pops In For Lunch

Fitzpatrick's were delighted to welcome President Mary McAleese and her husband Dr. Martin McAleese when they dropped in for lunch recently. Though it was an informal visit, the President was happy to meet the staff and pose for photographs with the Fitzpatrick family. It was a pleasure to receive them and we hope they will drop by again very soon.

No Smoking in Fitzpatrick's

This photograph appeared in the March 29th edition of the New York Times as the illustration for their story on the No Smoking in the Workplace incentive in Ireland. The Photo was taken by Reuters and we are delighted that they chose Fitzpatrick's for their article.

Fitzpatrick's Becomes a Smoke Free Workplace!

Fitzpatrick's is now officially a smoke free area. In compliance with the new laws, all ash trays have been removed and signs have been put in place.
Whilst we agree that these measures will benefit both staff and patrons, we have done our best to accommodate our smoking clients with the provision of pleasant smoking areas. We will also provide you with a tag for your drink so that it is not removed whilst you are away.

“Fabolous food, great service, good pint. This is a first – Better  than anything Dublin can offer- we will be back.”
Seamus McAleese, Meath
