Three in a Row!
Inclusion in the guide is seen as the highest honour in the food industry and to be included for thethird year running is phenomenal.
According to Danny Fitzpatrick, retaining your place in the guide is more difficult than initially winning a place, so to have been included for a second year is truly a testament to the ahrd work and dedication of the Fitzpatrick's team.
Maintaing Standards is the key
Last year, the appointment of new Chef, Cathal Grant was a major factor in achieving this award. One year on, Cathal and his team have proven themselves in maintaing the standards that won them the award initially. Consistently providing Great food and fantastic service, their skill and finesse is evident on every plate that emerges from his kitchen.

Hearty, Flavoursome Portions
With 4 additions to the guide this year, Fitzpatrick's is one of only 19 to be entered for Ireland and the only one in Louth.
As for last year, the guide praises the hearty meals, great service, attention to detail and the fabulous gardsns.
No stranger to awards, earlier this year, Fitzpatrick's were awarded 'Best Bar food' in the Dundalk Democrat / Cooley Distillery competition. However, “We are blown away that we've done this again ” says Dympna Fitzpatrick. “And at the risk of repeating ourselves, we couldn't keep doing this without our fantistic team.”
What's Next?
When asked what’s next, Danny replied “Economically there are tough times ahead and to encourage customers to spend their food euro at our establishment we have to work even harder. That being said, Roll on next year! ”.
